Species and hybrids that are compact or miniature in stature.  Every color and pattern imaginable.  Some offerings can flower 2 - 3 times a year on mature plants.  These will easily fit on a windowsill or under lights.  An added bonus is that some produce sweet exotic fragrances!!!!

    A member of subgenus Aclandia.  Cattleya aclandiae is from Brazil and requires either mounting or growing in pots in very open mix with large cork or bark nuggets.  The roots must dry quickly after watering.  Very bright light to 4500 fc is recommended.

    A member of subgenus Aclandia. Cattleya schilleriana is from Brazil and requires either mounting or growing in pots in very open mix with large cork or bark nuggets. This is a rare "blue" variety that produce a labellum with Indigo blue veining. VERY fragrant durring day. The roots must dry quickly after watering. Very bright light to 4500 fc is recommended.

    A member of section Porpax.  A miniature species native to Central America and northern South America.  Also sold as Epidendrum porphyrophyllum and Nanodes porpax. Mature plants are VERY small, at most 1" tall.  Terminal inflorescences are single flowered with relatively large flowers.  Individual flowers are ½" - ¾" wide.  The sepals and petals are greenish variously overlaid brown.  The lip is greenish overlaid a darker brown-purple. These are scrambling plants and will eventually cover a mount.  They quickly form thick mats and specimen plants.  These plants prefer intermediate temperatures and like to be kept evenly moist.

    Plants are on mounts and flowering size.
